Senior Director, Business Performance

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a high-performance Sales Performance/Operations Project Transformation Leader to step into a newly created role. This role is pivotal in driving strategic transformation initiatives within our sales operations, ensuring alignment with our business and performance objectives and enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.

The Senior Director, Business Performance will drive unified sales performance and operations processes, actions, and priorities to ensure the sales process is scalable, straightforward, and efficient. The SDBP will report to the SVP of Sales and work closely with the SVP of Commercial Product on strategic projects to meet sales goals, secure new business, and grow the customer base. This role involves leading and mentoring the Sales Operations and Sales Training team identifying new business opportunities, directing the ProSolutions efforts and building lasting customer relationships with various Partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Director of Business Performance is primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the company's market reach, increase revenue, and identify new business opportunities by identifying potential partnerships, analyzing market trends, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals. Additionally, the SDSP will be responsible for creating a worldclass Sales Operations team to support the organization with relevant and meaningful data and analytics to assist the company in making ongoing strategic decisions.

Specifically, the Senior Director of Business Performance will be responsible for leading:

  • Sales Operations and Training
  • ProSolutions (Turnkey)
  • Sundry Business Development
  • OEM Business Development
  • Dealer Channel Development
  • Rubber Distribution Sales

Key Skills Needed:

  • Strategic Planning:

Creating and implementing long-term business development and sales training strategies aligned with company objectives, including market expansion and new product launches.

  • Market Analysis:

Deep understanding of the industry, competitor landscape, and customer needs, experience identifying new market opportunities and understanding industry trends to inform business decisions.

  • Partnership Development:

Building and maintaining relationships with key partners, potential clients, and strategic alliances to secure new business deals.

  • Financial Acumen:

Understanding financial metrics and assessing the profitability of potential business ventures.

  • Sales Process Optimization:

Identifying areas for improvement in the sales process and implementing changes to streamline operations.

  • Team Management:

Overseeing Sales Operations and training, CSM’s, Pro Solutions team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Working closely with marketing, sales, product development, and other departments to align business development initiatives with overall company strategy.

  • Industry Representation:

Attending industry conferences, networking events, and thought leadership forums to stay updated on market trends and build brand awareness.

Education / Experience - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with an MBA preferred. Minimum five years’ experience in a sales leadership role.

This position is based in Calhoun, Georgia. This position requires travel, up to 25%. Most travel is outside of the local area and overnight.
